17 York Street is a cornerstone of Manchester’s business district, offering premium office space in a prime location. With sustainability at its core, the development required high-quality cycle storage to meet tenant needs and align with net-zero carbon goals.

We partnered with Rolfe Contracting Limited to design, supply, and install secure, space-efficient systems that promote active commuting and integrate cleanly with the building’s modern aesthetic.

Our Solution

British-made, BREEAM-friendly products selected for capacity, durability, and user experience:

  • Semi-Vertical Racks to maximise capacity in a compact footprint, enabling secure wheel and frame locking. BREEAM-compliant to support sustainability objectives.
  • Folding Bike Lockers (Brompton-compatible) with durable powder-coated finish in RAL yellow—chosen to match the scheme’s accent palette—providing safe, space-saving storage for folding bikes.
  • Public Bike Maintenance Station equipped with essential tools and a universal mount for convenient on-site tune-ups.
  • Perforated Mesh Sliding Gate & Fencing delivering secure access control with excellent visibility for passive surveillance and a clean, contemporary look.
  • Timber Slat Fencing using FSC-certified softwood battens on a galvanised framework to introduce natural warmth within a robust enclosure.

All steelwork is hot-dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:2022 for long-term corrosion resistance, BREEAM-compliant, and proudly Made in Britain.
