The Bike Storage Company was commissioned to design and install a bespoke Semi-Vertical Amazon Eco Cycle Shelter
that would maximise capacity within a limited footprint while maintaining a high-end visual identity. The client required a durable,
sustainable, and space-optimised design that reflected the architectural character of the park.

Project Details

Working closely with the client, our design and fabrication teams developed a tailored configuration of our Semi-Vertical Amazon Eco Cycle Shelter, providing high-density parking and environmental benefits through sustainable materials and living roofing.

Key Specifications

• Hot-dipped galvanised frame for long-term durability (to BS EN ISO 1461:2009).
• FSC-certified softwood battens for an eco-friendly, natural finish.
• Reinforced sheet-metal roof with integrated guttering and downpipes.
• Accommodation for 28 bicycles using galvanised Semi-Vertical Racks
  plus provision for two cargo bikes.
• Two single-leaf mesh swing gates with access control.
• Enhanced with a sedum green roof for added biodiversity and visual appeal.
• Made in Britain and BREEAM-compliant.

Sustainability & Innovation

The integration of a sedum roof transformed the shelter into a functional and environmentally responsible feature.
