At The Bike Storage Company, we’re committed to delivering premium, sustainable, and secure cycle storage
solutions that enhance the urban landscape. Our collaboration with Ballymore Group at Deanston Wharf is testament to this mission.
Deanston Wharf—designed by Glenn Howells Architects—brings 769 new homes and 1,125 sqm of mixed-use commercial space to the Royal Docks, creating a dynamic community hub on a prime industrial riverside site. As part of the development’s commitment to sustainability and active travel, we were trusted to provide secure, high-capacity cycle parking to encourage residents and visitors to embrace cycling.
We designed, supplied, and installed a suite of British-made systems aligned to the development’s quality and sustainability objectives:
Every product installed is BREEAM-compliant, Made in Britain, and manufactured with hot-dipped galvanised steel to BS EN ISO 1461:2022 for long-term resistance to wear and environmental exposure.
Deanston Wharf prioritises green infrastructure. Our UK-made, BREEAM-friendly systems support low-carbon commuting, contribute to sustainability credits, and make cycling more attractive and accessible for residents—helping the scheme meet ESG and active travel objectives.
Our delivery team coordinated closely with the client to meet programme and minimise disruption. The result is a fully integrated, high-spec cycle facility that elevates the end-user experience and adds long-term value to the development.
In major residential schemes, high-quality cycle facilities are now an expectation. By combining resilient engineering with clean architectural detailing, we delivered a solution that encourages active travel and future-proofs the asset for years to come.
