We partnered with Higgins Construction to deliver a bespoke bike and bin storage solution at Grange Farm—a major residential development in Harrow, London. As part of their commitment to sustainability and community wellbeing, Higgins required a durable, eco-friendly, and visually cohesive storage system. Our team designed, manufactured, and installed custom Amazon Eco Cycle Lockers and Amazon Eco Bin Stores, providing secure and sustainable amenities for residents.

The Challenge

Our Solution

We developed a tailored specification combining functionality, durability, and sustainable materials. The final installation comprised a coordinated mix of Amazon Eco Cycle Lockers and Bin Stores, finished with FSC-certified timber cladding for an elegant, environmentally conscious design.

Amazon Eco 2 Cycle Lockers

• Dimensions: 2,780 mm W × 1,200 mm H × 1,418 mm D
• Hot-dip galvanised steel structure to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 for superior rust protection and longevity.
• Clad in FSC-certified timber battens for a natural, eco-friendly aesthetic.
• Front swing gates with hasp and staple locks providing secure yet easy-to-use access.
• Powder-coated metal roof for weather resistance and durability.

Amazon Eco Bin Stores

• Dimensions: 2,270 mm W × 1,155 mm H × 1,014 mm D
• Built with the same galvanised frame and timber cladding to maintain cohesive design language.
• Hinged rear roof access allowing residents and waste teams to use the facility efficiently.

Additional Features

• Ground Anchors: 32 anchors installed for stability and anti-lift protection.
• Mitred Steel Angle Roof Trims: Matching powder-coated finish for seamless visual integration.

Installation & Delivery

• Ground anchors positioned following full site scanning to avoid buried services.
• Single-hit delivery strategy minimising congestion and streamlining on-site operations.
• Waste managed on-site via client’s disposal system; installation completed with zero disruption to residents.

Results

• Secure & Spacious Storage: 16 cycle lockers and eight bin stores installed across the development.
• Easy Operation: Hinged roofs and lockable access points make use simple and safe.
• Sustainable Finish: FSC-certified timber cladding complements the architecture and supports eco-conscious design goals.
