The Bike Storage Company was commissioned to design and deliver a bespoke Amazon Eco Cycle and Bin Store at Nevern Square — a project focused on sustainability, durability, and design refinement. This custom installation provides secure and visually cohesive storage while adhering to high environmental standards.

Project Scope & Specifications

• Hot-dipped galvanised 50 mm SHS steel frame to BS EN ISO 1461:2009
• FSC-certified timber battens with premium Thermopine cladding
• Complete sedum roof system with integrated drainage layer
• Separate cycle and bin store compartments with controlled access
• Six galvanised Sheffield stands within the cycle store
• Dimensions: 10,000 mm W × 2,000 mm H × 2,100 mm D
• Manufactured in Britain and fully BREEAM-compliant

Installation & Delivery

Our project management and installation team collaborated closely with the client to ensure a seamless process from design through to completion — working efficiently within a restricted-access urban site.

Preparation & Planning

• Level RC slab foundation prepared and verified prior to delivery.
• Coordination with client on site access, delivery logistics, and readiness.
• Full installation completed within schedule, with minimal disruption to residents.

Installation Process

• Site Preparation: Verified foundation and cleared site area.
• Delivery: All materials offloaded using forklift; client provided pallet trucks for internal distribution.
• Frame Assembly: 50 mm galvanised frame erected, with FSC timber battens installed to precision tolerances.
• Roofing: Three-layer sedum roof with integrated drainage system to enhance biodiversity.
• Finishing: Premium Thermopine cladding applied and access gates fitted for client’s access control system.
