Nestled along Cherry Hinton Road, the Old Swiss redevelopment combines historical charm with contemporary design. Formerly the Swiss Laundry warehouses, the site has been reimagined into a 50,000 sq. ft. office and R&D campus designed around flexibility, collaboration, and sustainability.

Work-Life Integration

With modern meeting spaces, breakout zones, and easy access to Cambridge Station, Science Park, and Stansted Airport, Old Swiss offers the ideal balance between connectivity and quality of life. As part of its forward-thinking design, CamProp partnered with The Bike Storage Company to promote cycling as a core component of the site’s sustainable vision.

Our Solution

The Bike Storage Company was commissioned to design and install bespoke cycle shelters that deliver both functionality and architectural synergy – supporting active travel for staff and visitors through premium, space-efficient systems.

Cambridge Two-Tier Cycle Shelter

• Installed in two configurations: 40-space and 80-space layouts.
• Space-saving two-tier racks with gas-assisted upper levels for easy use.
• Hot-dip galvanised frame and powder-coated finish for long-term durability.
• 10-year manufacturer warranty and Made in Britain certification.
• Engineered for high daily use, ideal for research and commercial environments.

Bespoke Amazon Eco Cycle Shelter

• Custom 16-space configuration with Iroko hardwood timber cladding for a refined architectural finish.
• Sedum green roofing system to enhance biodiversity and align with sustainability targets.
• High-security Locinox Leonardo sliding locks for controlled access.
• Weather-resistant and built to complement the development’s green landscape.
