Client: CamProp
Location: Cherry Hinton Road, Cambridge
Nestled along Cherry Hinton Road, the Old Swiss redevelopment combines historical charm with contemporary design. Formerly the Swiss Laundry warehouses, the site has been reimagined into a 50,000 sq. ft. office and R&D campus designed around flexibility, collaboration, and sustainability.
With modern meeting spaces, breakout zones, and easy access to Cambridge Station, Science Park, and Stansted Airport, Old Swiss offers the ideal balance between connectivity and quality of life. As part of its forward-thinking design, CamProp partnered with The Bike Storage Company to promote cycling as a core component of the site’s sustainable vision.
The Bike Storage Company was commissioned to design and install bespoke cycle shelters that deliver both functionality and architectural synergy – supporting active travel for staff and visitors through premium, space-efficient systems.
The Old Swiss redevelopment showcases how thoughtful cycle storage can complement a historic site’s architectural identity while supporting modern ESG ambitions. Combining innovation, craftsmanship, and environmental consciousness, The Bike Storage Company’s bespoke installations reinforce cycling as an integral part of urban life.
