Our collaboration at Queens Quay, Bristol showcases how design-led cycle storage and end-of-trip facilities can elevate a commercial workspace.

Delivering BREEAM-compliant, British-made products, the project reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainable design, active travel, and architectural integration.

The Project

Queens Quay is a £5.6 million refurbishment and reconfiguration of a four-storey office building in central Bristol, led by AWW Architects. The scheme focused on open-plan layouts, light-filled interiors, and enhanced wellness facilities, targeting BREEAM Excellent and Wired Score Platinum certifications.

A key part of the brief was encouraging active travel and supporting a healthy lifestyle. To deliver this, the reception was extended and new showers, changing rooms and basement cycle storage were introduced as core amenities.

Our Solution

Working closely with AWW Architects and Method & Beard, we designed, supplied, and installed a fully integrated end-of-trip solution.
Each product was manufactured in Britain, finished to the project’s design palette, and installed by our in-house team for a seamless handover.

Premium Vertical Bike Racks

• Wall-mounted racks securing both wheel and frame for maximum security
• Powder-coated to a custom RAL colour for a consistent aesthetic
• Installed at 305mm centres to maximise space efficiency

Free-Standing Vertical Bike Racks

• Modular, self-supporting design for flexible layouts
• Contrasting cradle and frame colours to complement the interior design
• Accommodates D-locks through wheel and frame
• Optimised 350mm centre spacing

Folding Bike Lockers

• Three-tier lockers designed for Brompton-style folding bikes
• Double-perforated steel doors for ventilation and visual lightness
• Digital coded locks for secure, user-friendly access

Internal Maintenance Station

• Includes eight tethered tools and a heavy-duty floor pump
• Universal mounting system for all bike types
• Promotes long-term cycling uptake within the workplace

Westminster Lockers

• Moisture-resistant MDF core with high-pressure laminate finishes
• Z-locker configuration with integrated hanging rails
• Heavy-duty Blum hinges for durability and everyday use
• Laminates selected to match interior palette for visual cohesion

Sustainability & Design

All components were manufactured in Britain from durable, low-impact materials, meeting BREEAM Excellent and ISO 9001/14001 standards.

Finishes were carefully colour-matched to the architectural scheme, creating a unified look that supports the building’s cycle-friendly and eco-conscious identity.

Execution & Delivery

Close coordination with Method and Beard ensured timely installation with minimal disruption to wider refurbishment works.

Our end-to-end service – from design to installation – allowed for consistent quality control and precision delivery within project timelines.
