The Bike Storage Company has been working with architect’s PDP London over the past 2 years, consulting on proposed cycle storage and street furniture to meet local authority planning requirements on behalf of Capco to deliver Lillie Square. This 1 million square foot scheme is one of the most high profile residential developments in London, transforming a 7.4 acre car park on Seagrave Road into 808 high-end new homes and outdoor green spaces.
Sir Robert McAlpine (SRM) were appointed as main contractor for the scheme and whom contracted The Bike Storage Company to carry out the full design and build of all Two Tier Cycle Racks and street furniture including bespoke cast iron cycle bollards – The Coser Cantor Bollard.
The Two Tier Cycle Rack is a unique system, designed and built in the UK and features a moveable upper tier. Its space saving design offers greatly increased cycle storage capacity when compared to traditional cycle racks. The UK fabricated Two Tier rack also allows for reducing shipping costs and fast lead times, and can be installed at train stations, schools, universities, shopping centres and major transport hubs.
