At The Bike Storage Company we have completed yet another prestigious and notable installation, this time at Selfridges, Oxford Street. The project comprises our ever-popular Semi Vertical and Two Tier Cycle Racks. The two most spatially efficient racks within our range. Providing Selfridges with a total of 121Nr. bike spaces are complete with a secure locking hoop to ensure full BREEAM and Secure by Design compliance.
The main challenge of this project was the tight timescale. The cycle racks were required to be on-site and installed within 18 working days, as well as on one single Friday night installation; nonetheless, all racks were delivered on time and installed in less than 8 hours!
In addition to our standard 10-year product warranty and 15-year no-rust guarantee, a 2-year maintenance package was provided on this project. This package consists of bi-annual pro-active maintenance checks on all the racks that have been installed and carrying out any necessary maintenance.
